About your future job

As Project Manager you contribute to the (first) project management baseline during the bid phase. You are responsible for a smooth transition of the contract from bid to project phase so to enable realization of the project within its contractual obligations.

Your main responsibilities are to:

• Lead the Project Management Team;
• Provide a controlled and predictable execution of the project;
• Be stay in contact with and report to the customer:
• Contribute to project reviews and evaluations.

• Have relevant experience in Project Management of (complex) projects;
• Have a good skillset in project management methods;
• Are able to have an overview of complex situations and to manage multi-task environments;
• Have excellent leadership skills;
• Are a strong motivator and are able to structure discussions with members on all levels;
• Have excellent communication skills (including being fluent in English.
• IPMA certification is a plus

About the team of Project Managers

The Hengelo team of Project Managers is part of the Cluster Projects. This cluster is responsible for assuring all activities relating to the delivery of our customer solutions (systems, products and/or  services) to our customers and product development projects. To facilitate this, the cluster maintains a broad base of project management skills and competences.

Currently the team consists 18 project managers. The project contents shows a wide diversity from a single Radar delivery for ground, aerospace or naval application to Service projects for existing configurations, Built to Print projects for Aerospace Customers to Overhauls, to delivery of a complete Combat Management System which fully integrates all functionality and control of the subsystems on board of a ship.
