About the assignment

There is a shortage of qualified engineers across many industries. This requires a good resource management allocating resources effectively. However, administrative duties to maintain a smooth workflow take engineers a lot of time. For instance, the findings from a Health Check of a system comes in paper form and has to be processed digitally in a later stage by an engineer resulting in a long process. Thales is looking for a student who can think out-of-the-box and develops an efficient and secured way for doing administrative tasks by engineers. Think about the introduction of a new technology to cover administrative tasks which can be efficiently managed with software.

We are looking for a HBO student with good communication skills and you are fluent in English. You are proactive and you can work independently.

About Thales

In the Netherlands, where more than 2200 employees are based, we are located in four cities: Huizen, Delft, Eindhoven and Hengelo (HQ). For this assignment you are working together with two departments within Thales, the Services department within the Supply Chain of the Naval Organization and the Product Management Services & LifeCycle Policies department. The Services department with approximately 65 employees is responsible for covering spares and repair activities for various radar systems, and field services all over the world for systems at the customer’s site. The Product Management Services & Life Cycle Policies department with approximately 30 employees is responsible for defining and managing the services portfolio, the strategy and the underlying policies.
