In the role of business consultant, you guide the customer in configuring the business processes within our product, S3 Passenger. S3 Passenger enables you to work with the most modern sales and distribution suite on the market for bus and train carriers.
Oftentimes the system to be replaced is almost entirely custom built. As a consultant, you play an important role in helping the organization understand and fully utilize the capabilities of the S3 Passenger software suite. Naturally, customization within a project of this scope is unavoidable. For example, the connection between the CRM and/or accounting systems. You are also responsible for the functional connectivity of these systems and occasionally deal with also other components such as online stores or other front-end applications.
You will spend much of your time in Enschede, at our new headquarters, but once a week the entire team often works at our Amersfoort location. Part of the job (giving workshops etc.) takes place at the customer’s location, both inside and outside Europe.
We are looking for someone who has demonstrative experience and success as a consultant. You offer advice related to crucial business insights for our customer, which means that they expect a sparring partner who has proven themselves. You are able to interpret the current trends of the transport sector and understand how Sqills offers added value. You remain critical but always think in solutions. We would prefer a colleague who has a background as a web developer or information analyst. This experience allows you to go more in-depth into the subject matter.
Due to the continued growth of the consultancy team, we are also actively looking for a team lead that is responsible for innovation in addition to the traditional human resourcing tasks. Most team leads spend around 30% of the time on typical team lead activities and their remaining time on projects.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree;
- A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience as a consultant on the supplier side;
- Demonstrable experience in translating business objectives into IT needs (infrastructure, systems);
- Experience with custom web-based solutions;
- Experience within a Scrum environment is a benefit;
- Excellent communicative and customer-oriented skills in both Dutch and English (French is a benefit).
- You can read situations and communicate in a tactful manner;
- International experience is a benefit;
- Willingness to travel to customers worldwide.
