In this pivotal role, you are primarily responsible for acquiring new customers. In addition, you will manage, maintain and expand your commercial contacts with existing relations. Objective: to achieve the commercial targets set by our organisation.
To achieve this, you will find and make an inventory of the possibilities, assess risks, draft quotations, make price agreements, etc.
You work both independently (from home) and in a team (occasionally visiting our head office in Oldenzaal) and report to the Commercial Director of Heisterkamp Transport.
For this position, we are looking for a commercially driven talent at Bachelor (HBO) level who loves to travel. Several years of relevant work experience and/or affinity with the transport industry is an absolute must. Furthermore, you need to demonstrate certain personal characteristics such as accuracy, good numerical insight and excellent social and communication skills.
Given the nature of the job, we require a flexible attitude; the job is not suited for someone with an 8 to 5 mentality. Due to the international character of Heisterkamp and this position, a good command of English and Spanish, both spoken and in writing, is an absolute requirement.
