Global Goal
SEFI2020 was planned to take place at the University of Twente campus, but will now be an exciting online event. In the new format there will be lots of inspiring keynotes, orals, posters, workshops and options to meet online. Sufficient technology support will be arranged to make this a good and interactive experience for all. Conference fees are reduced. The SEFI doctoral symposium (20 September) will also be held online.
Engaging a growing group of young people to embark on an engineering career is what we aim for. We share our passion to make the best of engineering education. By nature we engage with society, designing new solutions and helping to solve complex problems. New interdisciplinary opportunities arise when engaging with other domains. Engagement of businesses and organisations helps to prepare our students for their future career.

The SEFI Annual Conferences are scientific conferences focused on Engineering Education and the largest events of this type in Europe. They are a unique opportunity for professors, students, industry and professional organisations to exchange their views and to meet their peers and create a European network of contacts. Each year the topic of the conference changes reflecting the objectives of the Society and the priorities identified by its members.
