The worlds’ largest student think tank in Enschede

The University of Twente is known for its entrepreneurial attitude. Create Tomorrow is therefore a perfect match. The worlds’ largest think tank, organized by and for students, will hence take place at the University of Twente. Students from all over the Netherlands will spend a day working on issues of well-known companies and organizations, and will be introduced to businesses in a unique way because of this.

Create Tomorrow

On Wednesday, May 3rd, already the seventh edition of Create Tomorrow will take place. With over a thousand, enthusiastic, national and international students, ten renowned companies with a case each, three consultants, a lot of entertainment and festive afterparty. That are the ingredients that make Create Tomorrow this unique. The will be presented by none less than Rik van de Westelaken.

Participating companies

The participating companies are ThalesAntea GroupRijkswaterstaatGemeente EnschedeIemand.nlUniversity of TwenteAvikoKWFVialis and Izit. They will all produce a case for the students to work on. This way, the companies will be given numerous ideas for their issue in just one day. For the students, it is a wonderful and unique way to get a look behind the scenes at the different companies. In addition, several consultants from Rosen GroupCapgemini and Novel-T will also be present. They will assist in the process to get to innovative solutions.

The winner

All the hard work will most definitely be rewarded; the first prize is no less than €4000! New this year is the audience award with which tickets to the Lowlands festival can be won. Besides, there are several smaller prizes to be won.

The event

The informal presentation of the event is expressed through the large festival tent, acts by, amongst others, the physicist Lieven Scheire, comedian René van Meurs and mind-illusionist Jochem Nooyen, who is among students better known as Barteljaap from the series Rundfunk. During the day, everything will be provided for the students; a tasty lunch, sponsored by Albert Heijn Stadsveld, will be set up and in the evening, as well, a meal will be taken care of. After the award ceremony, a fabulous afterparty will be held in the Vrijthof! Jack and the Weatherman will kick off, followed a great set by Diggy Dex and his band and the evening will be closed by Mr. Belt & Wezol. It promises to be wonderful day filled with inspiration, innovative ideas, wonderful encounters and last but not least, a great party.
