Clear Flight Solutions wins European Drone Award

Last week, the UT-spin-off ‘Clear Flight Solutions’ has won a Drone Award during the first edition of the EU Drone Awards in Brussels. The robotic bird of prey has been awarded as the ‘best drone based solution’.

Out of 50 candidates from 14 different countries, 9 finalists were selected in 3 categories; best drone manufacturer, best drone based solution and best upcoming drone organization. Alongside the award that was won by Clear Flight Solutions, Unifly from Antwerp, Belgium, was awarded the prize for best upcoming drone organization and the German Microdrones may call itself the best drone manufacturer.

The European Drone Award  is part of ‘Unconvention’, a convention with the purpose to bring together young Europeans with innovative ideas.
